King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel

The Kona Beach Hotel is located in the heart of the village of Kailua, Kona, Hawaii. It is tucked away right next to Kailua's wharf and is an excellent location for those wanting to enjoy Kailua's shops, boutiques, activities and restaurants. It is also a great location for exploring the Big Island's many attractions.

Of special interest is the Ahu'ena Heiau, an ancient temple reconstructed during King Kamehameha's rule of the Hawaiian Islands, which is located on the hotel property. Many artifacts from past times are exhibited throughout the hotel and make for a very interesting glimpse into Hawaii's past.
