Kona Village Resort
Kona Village Resort Reviews

Location

Kona Village Resort resides on 82 ocean front acres of paradise on the Kohala coast of the Big Island. It is located just 4 miles from Kailua and Honokohou Bay, however one would not choose to leave the hotel's wonderful setting with 125 thatched roofed bungalows (called Hales).

General Information
The Kona Village Resort is the location that my wife and I chose to be married at and when you experience it, you will see why. The thatched Hales are sprinkled throughout the property and offer privacy with fabulous views. All non-motorized ocean toys are free for use by guests, as is snorkeling equipment. Note that there is a $130 per person charge for the mandatory dining plan that includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and some other treats, as well. While Kona Village is somewhat expensive, it is very memorable and an excellent place to stay.
