The Ka’anapali Beach Hotel is officially recognized as Hawaii’s Most Hawaiian Hotel. Everything from guest rooms and lobby décor to entertainment and on-site activities focuses on the Hawaiian heritage and culture. The guest rooms are located in four low rise wings that form an ocean facing horseshoe around a whale-shaped swimming pool. All rooms are similar in size and the bedding in all categories is two double beds or a king plus a single day bed. The hotel has an open-air restaurant that serves regional cuisine and a budget-priced buffet restaurant.
