Sheraton Maui Resort
Sheraton Maui Resort Reviews

Location:

The Sheraton Maui is an ocean front resort located on the quiet north end of the beach walk of beautiful Kaanapali Beach.  The Sheraton adjoins Black Rock promontory which separates North and South Kaanapali beaches. Black Rock is also considered one of Maui’s premier snorkeling spots. Kaanapali’s two championship golf courses are across from the resort. The one-mile Kaanapali Beach walk begins at the Sheraton and offers guests easy access to all of the open-air restaurants, Whalers Village shopping complex and museum and other beach amenities of the Kaanapali Resort.

Beach enthusiasts and sun worshippers love Kaanapali’s location in the heart of West Maui as it offers some of the sunniest conditions on the island. With everything from luaus to snorkeling within walking distance, one need never actually leave Kaanapali Beach, but public trolleys and busses run continuously providing easy accessibility to Lahaina just a short three miles away.

General Information:
Thanks to an elevated open-air lobby in the center of the hotel, an inspiring panoramic view of the resort, Black Rock, the Pacific Ocean and the islands of Molokai and Lanai, welcomes arriving guests. The hotel was completely rebuilt in 1996, so now it is considered the newest resort in Kaanapali. The hotel features a freshwater lagoon that meanders through tropical gardens and grottos as it winds its way to a large freeform swimming pool. The hotel’s Lagoon Bar is the best place to be at sunset to witness the Sheraton Maui’s traditional ritual of the nightly cliff diving ceremony. Guest accommodations are located in six distinct towers, none of which are over six stories high.
