Outrigger Reef on the Beach

The Outrigger Reef on the Beach is located right on the beach on the western side of Waikiki and is within easy walking distance to all of Waikiki, which offers great restaurants, attractions and some high quality shopping. With it's beachfront location, the view from the oceanfront rooms is breathtaking and is an awesome view to wake up to.

There is a beach front walk that allows one to traverse the entire length of Waikiki Beach that starts on both sides of the Reef Hotel. The Outrigger Reef is in an excellent location for a great vacation. The beach in front of the Outrigger Reef is excellent and very popular with families. The surf spots known as "Threes" and "Paradise" are directly in front of the Outrigger Reef on the Beach and can be seen from the ocean front and ocean view rooms. This is a great hotel to stay at if you surf. There are surfboard rentals right at the hotel.

The Shore Bird Bar

The Shore Bird Restaurant serves steak and seafood, but the catch is that you cook it yourself. For popular prices you enjoy an all-you-can-eat salad bar and then throw your dinner on the plentiful grills and cook it to your satisfaction. It is a great restaurant that the entire family will love. There are also many onsite shops that are located throughout the lobby area.

There are many options when it comes to choosing a room and they are sorted by view:

Standard - No View: These rooms are located on the western side of the hotel and are right against the adjacent condominium and have absolutely no view. Worse, they are very dark and depressing. Only book these rooms if price is your major concern.

City View: One king bed or two double beds. These are much better than the standard.

Partial Ocean View: One king bed or two double beds. Lanai. Partial ocean view.  Located on the eastern side of the hotel.

Ocean view: One king bed or two double beds. Lanai. Ocean view.

Ocean Front: One king or two double beds. Lanai. Direct ocean front rooms with incredible views. This is the best choice for the money.
